We're absolutely thrilled to have Des Gayle speaking at our Business of Indie event on December 5th at G-Live in Guildford.
Des has a huge array of experience in production across AAA, Indie and everything in between.
We all know a game is never "done", but the ever-expanisve "last 20%" can be devastating to an indie project. From his many years working as a produer, Des shares his experience about how to actually ship a game.
Production Manager, Fellow Traveller
Des is the founder and producer of micro games studio Altered Gene. Before starting his own development studio, he worked with a number of the games industry's leading products: at Microsoft he worked on the launch of the original Xbox, he helped EA for five years supporting their development teams, he managed R&D at Crytek’s European offices and was also the producer for Square Enix Collective.
Des is currently the production manager at Fellow Traveller, a member of the UKIE board, the chair of GamesAid and an ambassador for SpecialEffect.
Des is passionate about inclusion and loves building and running effective, diverse teams. He is particularly interested in forging links between the games industry and education to inspire the next wave of game developers.
