A look into diversity and representation within video games as well as how it affects those working in the games industry. Exploring why we should care about diversity and what we can do to improve both the games we create and the environment we develop in.
Creative Assembly, Lead Technical Artist
I’m the Lead Technical Artist for the award winning Total War series at Creative Assembly, where I oversee the team bridging the gap between programming and art across all Total War projects. My own focus tends to lie on pipeline development and optimization. In 2016 I was named as one of BAFTA’s Breakthrough Brits as well as having received several Women in Games UK Award nominations over the past few years. I’m also an advocate for representation and diversity in games and am one of the first Women in Games Ambassadors in the UK.
